How are you? ūüôā¬†We are all good here in Sweden. Eventhough, we are in love with Amsterdam and see ourselves spend a part of our lives there we have to say it feels right¬†to be¬†where we are at the moment. We know we will be back sooner rather than later and it is important to follow our intuition.¬†This time it took us back to our parent¬īs place¬† ūüėČ (But sooo nice to spend quality time with¬†family¬†and good friends. Beyond grateful!)¬†¬†In the end, everything is a state of mind. Enjoy every single circumstance and it simply has to transform to something good. Sometimes it might require a bit of practice but with time it will be the most natural way of looking at life. It will come so natural to seek for the good that even if you might be surrounded by negativity you will be so trained not to get stucked within it. Instead always search for something good to hold on to. That will in the end attract even more good feeling experiences. We have tipped over and can nowadays¬†hardly think any negative thoughts. If we do so we get reminded¬†of¬†it very fast since we by now know how quick we are able to manifest both good and bad things. This also¬†means that we pretty fast become aware if we are stuck in a negative spiral since we suddenly get surrounded by more and more bad experiences. As soon as¬†we experience negative emotions and get stuck in it we try to seek for something that can neutralize our mood.¬†It pushes us to stop and calm down. We try to drop whatever we are doing and center ourselves. Nothing is more important than to be one with ourselves, or at least strive to be it. When we are in alignment with ourselves everything simply has to unfold with perfection. With this said, we are faaaar from perfect and can many times catch ourselves not up to speed with ourselves. That is a part of¬†our development¬†and as long as we are aware of the fact it is at least one step in the right direction. We have to remind ourselves not to be “perfect” and too hard on ourselves. We all have moments of confusion and loneliness but we are all on this journey together eventhough we might take different roads.

29 maj25 maj 13Today we want to share our super tasty Zucchini badges topped with red tomato pesto and refreshing cilantro cashew cream. It is a delicious appetizer or suits perfectly on your buffet table. We made a whole batch with them and they were gone within no time. Our guests loved them!

INGREDIENTS
– 1-2 zucchini

Red tomato pesto
–¬†about 15 sundried tomatoes (either you soak your own or you use sundried tomatoes in oil, as you prefer. )
Рabout 8 Cherry tomatoes
– 1 date (optional but gives a nice sweet touch)
– handful of fresh basil
– chili pepper
– garlic
– a pinch of salt
– pepper

Feel free to use whatever spices or herbs you have at home. Depending how tasteful you want it.

Put all the ingredients in your food processor and let it go until you get a nice texture. Put it in a bowl.

– 2 cups of cashew nuts (soaked)
– 1-2 lime
– 1 tbl apple cider vinegar
– 1 clove garlic
– fresh cilantro
– pinch of cilantro

Place all the ingredients in your food processor (you can also use a blender) and process until it reaches a smooth consistency. You can add water to get the desired smoothness you wish for. We skipped this because we like it creamier. We usually try to add as little water as possible because it can tend not bring out all the flavours properly and we really enjoy tasting every single ingredient to its fullest. Also depending on how refreshing you wish to have your cream add as much as cilantro as you prefer. It is very individual and we personally love cilantro.25 maj 6

Chop your zucchini and put first one layer of your red tomato pesto and top with your refreshing cashew cilantro cream.

These last days have been super busy and filled with new adventures. We have truly been enjoying our last days in Amsterdam for this time and have barely slept anything and spent minimal amount of time at¬†home. Therefore, a bit of lack of updates BUT now we are safely arrived to Sweden and right back on track ūüėČ We will spend 1,5 months here at our parent¬īs place before next adventure takes place. We are super excited for everything that is about to unfold with perfect timing as long as we stay present.¬†Honestly, that is the greatest lesson learned during¬†this spring. We would never be where we are today¬†if we walked around worrying and doubting. It takes a lot¬†of practice but¬†with time universe is showing more and more amazing signs that¬†you are¬†on the right path that it is simply impossible not to trust. The trick is to open your eyes and see the signs. However, it feels good to be back home as well and we were welcomed with beautiful sunny weather. Every time when we get back to Sweden in the summer we always get so amazed how light the evening (and nights) are and how green everything is. Life is all about contrasts and it is truly a joy to be able to appreciate them all.

Now we are off for a evening walk in the SUN (8.30 pm local time) before we hit the bed. We promise that new recipes will be up tomorrow. We have plenty we have not shared with you yet and cannot wait to do it.

Raw Crackers

Hello Lovely,

We hope you have had a fruitful week and now ready for the weekend to begin. We are¬†as ready as we can be! We are going to make sure to enjoy everything Amsterdam has to offer as much as we can this weekend because it is our last days here for some time. We have not have had enough of Amsterdam though and will be back in the fall. Things have taken rapid turns lately and we are actually going to Sweden on Tuesday. We have a busy work schedule ahead of us¬†and realized it is much more convenient for us to be located in Sweden before our departure to Ghana. Sweden in the summer is also so the best time of the year so we have to choose wisely when it is time to go back home. ūüėČcrackers4Last weekend when we had¬†Julie¬īs rawesome birthday aperitivo we prepared Raw Crackers and want to share the recipe with you. Raw crackers are for example¬†great to have on a buff√© table, enjoyed with a salad or as a snack just as they are or with a spread. The crackers are super easy to prepare and the oven or dehydrator is pretty much doing the work for you. Can it get any better? ūüôā

INGREDIENTS
– 2 cups flax seeds
– 1 cup sesame seeds
– 0,5 cup pumpkin seeds
– 0,5 cup sunflower seeds
– 5 sundried tomatoes (more or less)
– 10 olives (more or less)
– Herbs

Start by soaking the seeds over night. You are going to notice that the flax seeds get a slimy fluid which is also the secret with these crackers.

Therafter place all the seeds in a bowl and stir so they mix well. Chop the sundried tomatoes and olives into small pieces and add to the seed mixture. Use a baking sheet and place an oven paper on it. Spread out the seed mixture and flavour it with some herbs. Now it is time to place it in the oven on 40 Celsius degrees but you can also use a dehydrator if you have one. Let the crackers be in the oven until crunchy and easy to break. This takes some time in the oven, about 8-10 hours. Voila, ready to be enjoyed!

This week is the good news week so we figured why not to share some more funsies with you. ūüôā As we grow quite rapidly and are starting to reach more and more loving people across continents we are in the process¬†to develop our website. We love all your feedback we get through comments, messages, e-mails etc. It is so much fun and pure pleasure to connect with you!¬†To make our website even more interesting for you to follow we are planning to¬†have some new fun and inspiring¬†features¬†that we¬†believe you will like. What we are fascinated about is to hear other people¬īs stories and outlook on life. What we would like to do is to share your inspirational stories with us, that we later on will post on our website. It¬†may for instance¬†include a Law of Attraction-story¬†from how you attracted a cup of coffee to a million dollar. cilantro lime dip 2cilantro lime dip 1We also have some more recipes to share from Julie¬īs birthday weekend. This one is a Refreshing Cilantro Lime Dip which is perfect to serve with cucumbers, carrots, selery or whatever you fancy to dip with. It is a really yummie alternative for a healthy dip plus it is super easy to prepare.

INGREDIENTS
–¬†1,5 cups sunflower seeds
–¬†1,5 cups pumpkin seeds
– 1/2 – 1 cup lime
– 3-4 bunches of cilantro
– 4 tbl fresh parsley
– 1/4 tsp Cummin
– Salt and pepper (to taste)
– Chilli (to taste)
– Water (if needed)

Place all the ingredients except the cilantro and water in the food processor and process until smooth. You can add water as much as you want depending on how smooth you want the dip. Chop the cilantro one bunch at a time and add until you get an awesome refreshing flavour and consistency.  As for the spices the measures are just guidelines so feel free to play with them, there are no right and wrong.

Another tip is also if you wish to reduce the amount of seed intake to add extra cilantro instead. This dip is perfect now when the Summer is around the corner. Make sure you enjoy it with a bright smile because it is that good! ūüôā

Friday Happy Juice Dance

Good morning precious friend,

How are you today? ūüôā First of all LOVE to see all your comments and likes both here, on¬†Facebook (The Raw Food Sisters)¬†and on Instagram.¬†Unfortunately we cannot link you directly to our Facebook page due to some technical troubles. We are waiting for that to be fixed¬†so meanwhile¬†you can search for us on Facebook as The Raw Food Sisters.¬†We know we have said it thousands of time but nothing is more exciting and fun than to connect with you. It feels like we are all creating one big loving and happy family! ūüėÄ Well, we know of course that the sun might not shine all day, every day. But you know, that is alright. We are here to support each other and remind one another that the world is beautiful and there is magic in every single moment. Sometimes it might be a bit more tricky to see and feel it but a good reminder is our dear friend Albert Einsteins words (pic above). In the end, we need to remember that some dancing in the rain helps us to see clearly and be able to evolve to the persons we are meant to become. Do you agree?¬†

These last weeks have been pretty busy for us. We have worked a lot and mostly from different coffee bars around Amsterdam. That means we have eaten the majority of our meals out and about. So how do you manage to do that as Raw Vegans in a city filled with fried pommes and mayonnaise? ūüėČ No but seriously there are plenty of healthy food options in this city but of course not as many Raw Vegans that we would appreciate. We have find our way to stick with our crazy energetic lifestyle and would at the moment not change it for anything. So here we have some of our tricks that might help you to stay healthy and vibrant out and about in a city the whole day:

– We usually order some fresh mint tea or a freshly squeezed juice in the cafe. We might be a bit sneaky and snack on some nuts or dried fruits (that we have brought) if we need some extra energy.. but shhh donnot tell anyone! ūüėČ

– For lunch we like to move our ¬†bodies a bit. Specially if we have been sitting in front of the computer for hours. We usually go for a walk and try to find a nice little spot where we can indulge in plenty of fresh fruits for lunch. Either we have already prepared a big fruit salad or we mono meal (eat many of one fruit) and bananas are perfect for days like these (or apples as the pic above). Gives plenty of good energy! Please check out our beautiful friend¬īs post¬†why¬†you should enjoy bananas with a huge and happy appetite.

– Water! You probably know already how important water is. We cannot say it enough it is the KEY to everything. Stay hydrated! When you think you cannot drink anymore, fill yourself with an other cup of water. When you drink plenty of water you will not crave anything either. Many times when we think we want to snack on something or feel hungry we are actually thirsty. So drink up! Water will give you plenty of energy. Donnot be shy to ask if you could refill yor bottle. Live your way of life. In the end¬†who cares¬†what someone else does! Be busy drinking and snacking on your high vibrant food instead ūüėČ

– We have got some comments if we still drink alcohol. The thing is, we donnot want to live a life under any restrictions. Follow your heart desires and eat and drink whatever feels right for you in this very moment. Very important to distinguish what you¬†actually¬†need and what your ego is craving. However, food and drinks are supposed to be FUN and EXCITING. Eat to fuel yourself and feel the best you can. Not the other way around. Whatever you put in your mouth love it with your full heart. Life is too precious to feel bad! With that said, we drink some wine and love a glass of good red wine. If we end up staying late working in a cafe and suddenly it turned out to be a bar, we would not say no to a glass of wine and some olives! ūüėČ (Yes we eat olives even if they are not raw. In the end, there are no rules and we all should do what makes us feel good.)

– POSITIVITY. EXCITMENT. GOOD VIBES! These words should be first on the list. Since seriously, with a positive mind set you are settle for 98 % of the time. Be excited. You donnot want to ¬†be lazy and eat crap because it is easy access to you. You donnot want to do that simply because you deserve to feel AMAZING! The key to succeed on this lifestyle is to realize deep within you why you choose to live like a little monkey ūüėČ That is the best reminder whenever you get hungry and a bit grumpy and it would be 10000 times more easy to grab a pizza slice. But remember, you want to thrive. You want to rise to higher frequencies. You want to feel the love of life flow through you. You want to see the world with clear vision. You simply donnot want to harm your body and poison yourself! (sorry if we sound hard but we KNOW it is difficult to remember this specially when you are hungry and alone. NOTE: eat a pizza if you want to. There is nothing bad with a pizza as long as you feel GOOD!)

If you dear wise friend have any other tips and tricks on how to stay healthy when you are far away from your beloved mixer and kitchen tools! Please feel free to share your ideas with us and our friends. Remember life is supposed to be fun and easy! We know the modern world is not very adapted to¬†how¬†we think we should be living. So we simply have to live the change we wish to see. Together we can inspire and motivate each other that in the future it would be more normal to enter a cafe and get a massive raw cake served ūüėČ Those days are coming as long as we walk our talk!

Juice for breakfast will make you go bananas (in the most positive way as possible). Today¬īs breakfast is called Happy Juice Dance since it literally made us bust out in crazy dance moves ūüėÄ So here we go!

INGREDIENTS
– Fresh Orange and strawberry juice
– Spinach
– Kiwi
– Chlorella

Put all the ingredients in your mixer and let it go until it is smooth and nice. Pour it in to your glass and be ready for a magical day!

Live the Change and some Raw Buckwheat Porridge

We got some comments lately that our lifestyles are quite extreme and first we almost got chocked and went like “whaaat extreme?! In what way?!”. Shortly after it totally¬†hit us. Of course we are extreme¬†if you compare to what the majority of the people on our planet think is “normal”.¬† The thing is we have now come to a point when it comes so¬†natural to make the choices we do on a daily basis.¬†We have passed the tipping point when you go from creating a habit to actually living it. It does not longer feel like we have to adapt our way of living since this now is our lifestyle. Oh boy, never felt better! ūüėČ

We have told you before but it can be worth repeating, that so much more than we ever could be able to imagine¬†has followed on our journey.¬†When changing our eating habits 100 % a¬†whole package of¬†insights and well-being¬†came along. We have to admit, we never went vegans in the first place due to ethical reasons. We decided to go vegans because our bodies and our inner voices were screaming for a change.¬†After only a couple of days as vegans we¬†felt so good and the inner voice kept nodding us to continue on this journey. Ten days later we made the transition to a Raw Vegan Lifestyle and now five months later we have not looked back. So much has happened during these months. Not only in our bodies but also on a¬†mental, physical and spiritual level. Our bodies were (and still are) filled with toxic and we did suffer quite some from detoxification and we are in matter of fact still detoxing. When your body is filled with toxins, so is your mind, and you simply¬†cannot see clearly. These last months have truly brought so much that we donnot even know where to start. First of all when we clean ourselves on all levels we are not only getting rid of toxins that could lead to diseases but we are also letting go of emotional “diseases” as¬†fears, anxiety, doubts, uneasiness. Slowly but steadily¬†all those emotions¬†will leave since there is¬†simply no space left for negativity in a healthy mind. Let us explain.

When eating exactly what Mother Nature is here to provide us with you will automatically develop such a beautiful relationship with everything that is around us. You¬†are forced to step outside the¬†world you were born into and start to question your way of thinking and living. Why am I doing like this? You will most likely open your eyes and realize what a cruel business the whole meet and diary industry is. A stretched mind cannot go back! The spiritual journey… oh dear. We donnot even know where to start. It has been and is still beyond beautiful. The connection with our planet, our bodies and our minds keep evolving all day, every day. The more clean we become the clearer we see and our lives purposes become more and more distinct. We can feel¬†our heart desires beat louder for¬†each day that passes. In this way we¬†are automatically creating space for our inner voice to guide us through life. How would it be possible to hear and connect with our true inner and pure selves when we are filled with toxins and negativity?

Today we want to share our Raw Buckwheat Porridge with you. We have already made one post with it but today we will share our all time favorite version. It is super easy to make and it is delicious and healthy. If you like the porridge texture but are looking for a grain free version Рthis is for you! We love to start some days with with raw buckwheat porridge since you really become perfectly full. You will be satisfied and filled with energy but never to that point that you feel heavy. The best part is that when we make this yummie breakfast we donnot need to eat for hours. It is truly the perfect breakfast if you know you will be up and running the whole day and need something to fuel you well!

INGREDIENTS
– 1/2-1 cup raw buckwheat (soaked overnight)
– 2 bananas
– 3 dates
– 1-2 tsb maca
– Berries (serving)

Use the measurement only as a guideline. If you want it sweeter add more dates more filling add more bananas etc.

Start the night before and put your raw buckwheat in a bowl with water. Let it soak over night.

In the morning first rinse and wash your soaked raw buckwheat before you put it together with the other ingredients in your mixer. Let it go until you get a nice and creamy porridge. Serve it with berries!

Have FUN!

What a week we have had! So much fun and a couple of late nights. Of course many productive working hours in between as well. It is so important to find that perfect balance between all areas in life. Never forget to have FUN! Enjoy yourself and go with this amazing flow. Enjoy the adventure universe can take you on if you allow it to come to you. It might be a bit ironic but we have found that when we for a moment simply¬†let go¬†of all our thoughts about our business and projects, and decide to go out for a night and just have an amazing time, unexpected positive things happen.¬†In some magical way we have bumped in to the right people who have ended up being the perfect contact and given us information to be able to bring us one step further on our journey. Amazing ideas have also come to us when we at least expect it. The conclusion is to allow what we desire in life to come to us.¬†Not “fight” for it. It is a fine line between working your butt off for what your heart desires and¬†taking¬†inspired actions.¬†Donnot missunderstand us, it is essential to work for what you desire. But it is a huge difference of working and doing what you think you have to do for creating your dream and¬†allowing the inspiration of taking action towards your dream to come true. We call it inspired actions and that is when nothing can hold you back from acting. The difference is the feeling. You can either feel “I have to do this” or “I¬†want¬†to do this”. It is all a state of mind. We try to never ever fight anything. Only allow it to come to us by rising our own vibrations. Then suddenly nothing really can stop us from doing whatever we¬†have¬†to do. Simply learn to play with the emotions and everything becomes so much more easy AND fun!

We cannot say it enough but how we feel today is beyond what we ever thought would be possible. Seriously. We are feeling so freakin¬īgood! ūüėÄ We have talked about our past lives a bit with each other these last days and compared it to how we live and feel today. Oh boy… what a difference! Before we ate badly and if we went out we would feel so tired the next morning. Wake up with a swollen face and just crave more bad food that in some way we thought would make us feel better. In our ears today it sounds sooooo out of this world. Now we wake up and crave a massive vibrant salad or something else that will make us feel amazing! Eating good has also definitely given us so much more energy to be able to work a lot and still have a big social life. We are simply so grateful for taking the decision to change our lives. It has been worth it all time to change and get rid of old habits. If we can do it- so can you!

We have an addiction. We are obsessed with Coconut Water. It is definitely one of Nature¬īs¬† most refreshing drinks in our opinion. It is also nurturing your body with incredible health benefits so we figured to share some of them with you now when we have confessed our coconut craziness.

Coconut Water is:

  • Rich in e.g. calcium, iron, phosphorus, natrium and¬†potassium as well as minerals like zink, selen, iodin, magnesium and B-vitamins.
  • A great source of electrolytes, such as potassium, which is vital for appropriate hydration of your body.
  • Alkalizing¬†the pH-level in your body.
  • Boosting the immune system, being anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

Since the Coconut Water is so good for rehydration we often drink it after our Bikram Yoga. The Coconut Water should of course not replace water so make sure you drink plenty of pure water during the day as well. What more can we say. Raw Vegan Burrito

How are you today? Did you have a good start of the week? We hope you are in a good mood and finding peace whatever circumstances you are experiencing, and knowing deep within that all is good and always will turn out good. We are beyond happy and grateful to hear so many of you are joining us on May Meditation Month. As the quote above says we need to do it daily or as ofter we feel the need for it. In that way we more easily connect with our innerselves and the world around us. Remember we are never alone on this journey! So many beautiful people to connect with. We appreciate YOU so much.

Today we want to share one of the most delicious meals we have ever made. Seriously DELICIOUS! And of course is every single ingredients good for you. We were inspired by¬†Fullyraw-Kristina¬īs burrito and oh my goddness how amazing was it not?! It was so good that we have had it a couple of days in a row ūüėČ So we think it definitely deserves to be shared with YOU as well. If you donnot already know about Kristina you need to check her out. She is doing amazing work and has a big THANKS to our transition to a Raw Vegan Lifestyle. Super inspiring!

Ok. Now let¬īs start make some delicious Raw Vegan¬†Burrito!

INGREDIENTS (2 pers)

Awesomesauce
– 1/2 zucchini (more if you desire)
– 1/4 cup sesame seeds
– Juice of 3 lemons
– Few sprigs of green onion
– 1 red bell pepper
– Spicy pepper (optional)
The rest
–¬†Large collards leaves (or an other wrap friendly version)
– 1-3 bell peppar
– 1 cucumber
– 1-2 carrots
– Tomatoes
– Little bit of cilantro
– Sprouts
– Avocado

Start with making the awesomesauce by putting all your ingredients in your mixer. Such a fresh and vibrant sauce that works perfectly with the rest of the ingredients.

Cut and slice the carrots, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber and bell pepper as you wish. A tip is to make them in different sizes so you can feel the differences when you are eating.

Now take your big leaf and put some salsa on it. Add your cut and sliced veggies. Add your sprouts and cilantro. If you cannot have enough of the awesomesauce add a little extra on the top. Roll your leaf and take a big bite Рvoilá and welcome to Raw Food Heaven!

May Meditation Month

We have talked a little bit about meditation earlier with you. We have to admit that we have not been practicing it as much we wish to these last months. However, we have the last month started every single morning writing our appreciation list and we found it truly to be an amazing way to start our days. It sets the perfect love tune for the day and you can literally feel how you rise in frequency. Now we have come to a point when we need to step it up even more. Challenge ourselves on our spiritual journey. So we have decided to dedicate May as our meditation month. We will each day on some point during the day meditate and really make it a powerful habit. We know how amazing it is to close your mind and let go of all those thoughts. Stop identifing ourselves with our minds. The only thing stopping us from really become serious about meditation Рis time! No more excuses, thinking of time lacking or whatever we do instead. Nothing is more important than to be in peace with yourself, and the rest will unfold with perfection.

But most important, please feel free to join us! You donnot have to meditate every single day if it is not for you. Try to incorporate it to your daily life as much you can and¬†as long it feels good for you. We love to connect with you and hear your wise ideas and thoughts.
