This is THE coleslaw



Who said raw vegan and/or healthy food necessarily has to be boring? That is only a lack of imagination.. if you ask us 😉 With that said we created this super tasty and satisfying raw coleslaw so we all can enjoy this famous fatty salad in a new guiltfree way. It´s a must try!


dressing – cashew sauce
– 3 dl cashew
– ½ dl apple cider vinegar
– 2 ½ dl water
– salt

– 1 small cabbage head
– 1 red onion
– juice from 1 lemon
– black pepper
– salt
– flaxseed oil/oil (optional)

Before we start, we have written the amounts but please don´t take it literally since fresh and living food varies in both sizes and taste. Go with the feeling and keep your taste buds with you while preparing this yummie meal! And one last thing, this salad tastes even better a couple of hours later or even the very next day.. that is, if you have enough patient 😉

Ok. Now let´s start!

First step is to make the cashew suace. Simply put the ingredients in your mixer or food processer and let it swirl around until you get a nice and tasty sauce. Put it in a bowl.

Chop the cabbage head and the red onion and put in an other bowl. Add the cashew sauce and the rest of the ingredients. Put as much or little of the spices you prefer. If you enjoy the taste of apple cider vinegar you can always make an extra dash in the end. Massage properly the salad to be sure all the tasty flavours are covering the whole salad.

Done! Easy peasy, right?
